The topic chosen for ABS04, the 2004 school, was Statistics and Gene Expression Genomics: methods and computations and the lecturer was Mike West (Duke University, USA).
The topic chosen for ABS05, the 2005 school, was Bayesian Approaches to Evidence Synthesis and Decision Modelling in Health Care and the lecturers were Keith R. Abrams, Nicola Cooper, Cosetta Minelli, Alex Sutton (Centre for Biostatistics and Genetic Epidemiology, University of Leicester, U.K.), Tony Ades, Nicky Welton (MRC Health Services Research Collaboration, University of Bristol, U.K.).
ABS06 will be organised in cooperation with the Department of Statistics of the University of Bologna and the GRASPA group and it will be held in the University Residential Centre of Bertinoro.

for the 2006 school is
Hierarchical Modelling Approaches for Spatial Data in
Environmental and Health Sciences.
The school will explore the use of Bayesian approaches for
spatial data in environmental and health sciences.
The school will make use of lectures, practical sessions,
software demonstrations, informal discussion sessions and
presentations of research projects by school participants.
