HCSE

HCSE provides an opportunity for scientists and health practitioners to discuss operations management issues in health care delivery systems.
HCSE scientists and practitioners can share their current research topics and ideas in the area of the healthcare modelling, simulation, optimization, control and management.

CONFERENCES

At each bi-yearly conference, scientists and practitioners have the opportunity to discuss about new ideas, methods and technologies for improving the operation of health care organizations.
The events emphasize the research in the field of health care systems engineering developed in close collaboration with clinicians.
The events take place in a hospital (usually with hospital tour), and each session is co-chaired by a discussant coming from the clinical practice.

PUBLICATIONS

A special issue on the Flexible Service and Manufacturing Journal is associated with each conferen edition; the call is open to the participants to HCSE conference and to all researchers working in the healh care system engineering.
Conference proceedings can be also published in an issue of the series Springer Proceedings in Mathematics & Statistics, depending on the local organisers, as it happened in the first editions.
