REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES

We strongly encourage participants to register as soon as possible since the number of participants is limited to 90 and the number of available rooms at Hotel Villa Carlotta is limited.

Registration

There is a registration fee of

  • 180 € (20% VAT included) for students
  • 200 € (VAT exempt, according to the Italian law) for Italian public servants (e.g. CNR, State Universities, Banca d'Italia, etc.)
  • 240 € (20% VAT included) for all the others
    • covering welcome buffet (May, 19th) and farewell dinner (May, 21st), and organisational expenses.

    A boat trip to Borromee Isles, with a tour of the magnificent Isola Bella, and Eremo (Hermitage) di Santa Caterina del Sasso, is sponsored by Institute for Integrating Statistics in Decision Sciences of George Washington University.

    Accompanying persons attending welcome buffet and/or farewell dinner should inform the GDRR11 Organising Committee. They will pay each dinner directly to the Hotel Villa Carlotta.

    People paying the registration fee after February, 28th, 2011 will be charged an extra 60 € (20% VAT included) or 50 € (VAT exempt, only for Italian public servants) as late registration fee.

    It is possible to reimburse 50% of the paid amount for cancellations received in writing by March, 15th, 2011. No reimbursement is possible after that date.

    Registration form

    Participants are kindly asked to fill the on-line registration form, providing all the requested data needed to issue an invoice according to the current Italian laws. In particular, it is compulsory to provide the VAT number if the invoice will be issued to an organisation (and not to an individual) based in the European Union. A Tax Number Id is requested also for non-EU organisations.

    Lunches (19th, 20th, and 21st) and coffee breaks are included in the hotel rate. We strongly advise to book a room at Hotel Villa Carlotta. Participants who are not staying at Hotel Villa Carlotta will have to pay (with no exception) the hotel for the coffee breaks upon registration, whereas lunches in the hotel are optional.     Please make sure that CNR will get the exact amount, without charging it the bank fees.

    Participants are requested to send the bank receipt to the CNR-IMATI fax number: +39 0223699538.
    An acknowledgement of the fax transmission will be sent by e-mail as soon as possible.

    Cash payment upon arrival:

    If seats will be still available, then cash payment upon arrival will be possible. Please be advised that the workshop accepts a limited number of participants (90) and that all the seats might be taken well in advance.

    Symposium Deadlines

  • December, 1st, 2010: abstract submission
  • December, 15th, 2010: acceptance notification
  • January, 1st, 2011: first day to pay the registration fee
  • January, 31st, 2011: payment of registration fee by contributed speakers
  • February, 28th, 2011: payment of registration fee without late registration fee
  • March, 15th, 2011: cancellation with 50% reimbursement
  • May, 31st, 2011: submission for Decision Analysis special issue
