REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES

We strongly encourage participants to register as soon as possible since Varenna is a small town and the number of hotels is limited. Please look at the deadlines for booking the reserved rooms.

Furthermore, we remind that the number of participants is limited to 80.

Registration

There is a registration fee (VAT included) of

  • 120 € for students
  • 180 € for ISBA and SIS members
  • 220 € for all the others
    • covering coffee breaks and welcome dinner (June, 2th) at Hotel Villa Cipressi.

    Participants are invited to attend the farewell dinner (June, 4th) at Eremo Gaudio, overlooking the lake, for additional 55 € (VAT included) per person.

    Accompanying persons attending the welcome dinner (June, 2th) will be charged 45 € per person and those attending the farewell dinner (June, 4th) will be charged 55 € per person.

    People paying the registration fee after April, 30th, 2005 will be charged an extra 30 € as late registration fee.

    Participants are kindly asked to fill the registration form (specifying applicable registration fee, attendance of the farewell dinner and accompanying persons' dinners) and send it to bisp4@mi.imati.cnr.it

    No booking will be done for lunches and June, 3rd dinner. The participants can choose by themselves among the restaurants, pizzerias and bars in Varenna.

     Please make sure that CNR will get the exact amount, without charging it the bank fees.

    Please note that the current number of interested participants (well above the maximum number of 80 people) compels us to ask for an advanced payment by April, 30th (March, 31st for the authors of accepted papers) to avoid, when possible, to keep a seat for someone who will not show up and be compelled to refuse the registration of people very interested in attending the workshop). Cash payments will be possible only if seats will be available at the start of the workshop (but, please, check in advance).

    • Participants are requested to send the bank receipt to the CNR-IMATI fax number: +39 0223699538. An acknowledgement of the fax transmission will be sent by e-mail as soon as possible.

    Please do not send us checks, money orders, credit cards, etc. We can accept ONLY only cash upon arrival (with the 30 &euro late registration fee) and bank transfers as specified before.
