We strongly encourage participants to book a room at
Collegio Volta, where we have
reserved 40 rooms.
The cost of a bed and breakfast, single room accommodation, with private
bathroom, for 4 nights
(arrival 3/9 and departure 7/9) is 250 €
(VAT included).
Breakfast (included in the cost) is available from some vending machines.
Collegio Volta is a student dorm built in 2000 and it is close to the
conference room at CNR-IMATI (Pavia department) where the school will be held.
It has 130 single rooms with bathrooms and a small kitchen is available for
groups of 4 rooms. Common T.V., computer and study lounges are available.
A pizza shop is nearby and public transportation is available to the center
of the city, although it can be reached on foot as well.
Pavia has a limited number of hotels and they can be contacted directly by the participants (there is no special rate for ABS12).
