SUGGESTED PREREQUISITES
Participants should have an understanding of statistical methods. Some background on the basics of Bayesian inference will be given in the course, but previous exposure to Bayesian methods would greatly help. Also, previous experience with some statistical computing software (R in particular) would be useful. The basics of R will be covered during the first practical session.
